Turning something old into something new...

I've put in a request to join my first quilt block swap in a very long time. ::fingers crossed:: Until I find out if I've been approved to join, I'm going to take the same idea of the swap and play with some blocks I have in my stash.

I have 9-patches...probably around 200, all 6" finished. Some are all pink, some are all black, some are really random scraps that probably should have never been put together :) I'm going to go through them and pull some out to test disappearing 9-patch layouts. Even if I didn't make the cutoff for the swap signup, at least something will be done with these poor blocks that have been sitting for 8-10 years. Wow...when I put a time stamp on some of my old projects, I feel really old! I'm only 30, I swear :)

ETA: I'm in! I'm now signed up for Jane's Red/Teal swap!
